Hazards:

- Exposure to Hazardous Materials or Infectious Agents: Broken glassware may contain or have come into contact with hazardous chemicals, biological agents, or radioactive materials, posing risks of exposure if personnel handle or clean up broken glass without proper precautions. Contaminated sharps may also spread infectious diseases or pathogens if mishandled.
- Disposal Risks: Improper disposal of broken glassware or sharps can pose risks to custodial staff, waste handlers, or personnel responsible for waste management. Broken glass or contaminated sharps may puncture waste bags, cause injuries during handling, or result in environmental contamination if not disposed of safely.
Minimizing Risk:
