We recently printed some AL-branded safety vests for field work. Not only will they help keep you visible, but they will also display your affiliation with our institution, which could be beneficial when encountering members of the public while in the field.
Because they are lightweight vests, they can be worn comfortably during any season. They have been printed with our logo on the front and have “Research Staff” printed on the back. The blaze orange color will help keep you visible during hunting seasons. The reflective tape will help make you more visible in the dark, but bear in mind that they don’t meet the current SHA requirements for roadside work. If your research requires you to work along any SHA-maintained roads, you will need additional reflective material to meet their requirements.
